Pampilhosa da Serra is a Portuguese village in the district of Coimbra, in the province of Beira Baixa, in the Centro region (Beiras Region) and sub-region of the Coimbra Region, with about 1 300 inhabitants.
It is the seat of the municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra with an area of 396.46 km² and 4 481 inhabitants (2011), subdivided into 8 parishes. The municipality is limited to the north by the municipality of Arganil, to the northeast by Covilhã, to the east by Fundão, to the south by Oleiros, to the southwest by Sertã and by Pedrógão Grande and to the west by Góis.
The municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra is divided into 8 parishes:
Cabril; Dornelas do Zêzere; Fajão - Vidual; Janeiro de Baixo; Pampilhosa da Serra; Pêssego; Portela do Fojo - Machio;Unhais-o-Velho.
