QUIAIOS
N 40.21522; W 8.85768

Quiaios is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Figueira da Foz, district of Coimbra, with an area of 52.31 km² and 3 042 inhabitants (2011). Its population density is 58.2 inhabitants / km².
Quiaios is also known for its vast and natural beach.
Quiaios Beach is inserted in a landscape that combines a vast expanse of vegetation with an enormous expanse of sand.
A long wooden walkway runs along the dunes of the beach, connecting it to the infrastructures that serve bathers.
Between the seaside and the imposing Serra da Boa Viagem there are hiking trails.
Given the great length of the beach, nudism is practiced in the most remote areas of the dunes. Surfers are also a regular presence, given the conditions conducive to the sport.
